Tree Streets

Mostly residential, the Tree Streets are, as the name implies, streets mostly along the lines of Fern, Elm, Birch, and Maple. The general western border is marked by Broadway, which divides it from Little City. North is the interstate, south is where State Street runs along the Penobscot River, and the east gradually devolves into parks, graveyards, and Gravesend.

About the only businesses found in the thick of the Tree Streets are bakeries and antique stores that residents run out of their homes, while the primary through-roads have their share of corner stores and schools. A large portion of the riverfront along here is taken up by the mighty Eastern Maine Medical Center, the largest hospital in the county, which has a small herd of flower stores and casual stores clustered around it for protection.
